"ENDURE" -A medical device designed and developed to hold an endoscope during procedures like upper endoscopy, colonoscopy etc.
Investigating patient’s gastrointestinal tract while controlling and maneuvering an endoscope can be tiring and stressful for the operator. When endoscopy is performed over long periods of time, doctors are prone to repetitive use injuries, such as carpel tunnel syndrome, or musculoskeletal injuries in the wrist, neck, elbow, or shoulder.
Our product holds an endoscope at a specific desired position (during the procedure) thus allowing you to use both hands for surgery (as often required). Additionally, it provides stability and relaxation to the muscles which otherwise get stressed due to the constant force necessary to hold the endoscope in a particular position.
- Removes need of transition of scope from doctor to nurse
- Reduces risk of colon punctures by providing more stability
- Frees physician hands to remove polyps or correct other issues
- Reduces down time from work & allows more procedures
